NVIDIA CEO, Jen-Hsun Huang, said that streaming games over the cloud to your TV at 4K is not going to happen anytime soon.
During a briefing at Computex he said while it is possible to stream 4K movies from online services like Netflix to PCs, TVs and set-top boxes, streaming games from the cloud requires many infrastructure changes. He specifically said “It’s going to be a while" for the 4K game streaming to come.

There are already many 4K TVs and as it has already been mentioned services like Netflix and Hulu can already stream 4K shows or movies. However for a game to stream at 4K, a few changes are required on the side of the servers. Several tweaks and faster Internet speed are some of those changes.
NVIDIA already has the equipment to deliver the service and Huang said that many improvements are to their cloud gaming service, so it can't be that far away this 4K streaming service, maybe.
