The Best Time Of The Year
Starting today Steam is going on a frenzy! Sales everywhere, 80% or 85% off the games you were waiting forever to play and the best part? You can play a game, to get EVEN MORE SALES. Isn't that exciting? Of course it is.
Every year Valve does this and it always gets every one's attention. Even when I was playing exclusively on game consoles (PS3), I would crawl up to my dusted PC in order to check out what all this fuss was about and every single time I would buy games even if I knew that my PC couldn't play or that I wouldn't enjoy them, just because they were like offered for 2$ from there 20$ original price.
However, this year Valve did something more, than just discounts. You can play a game, the Monster Summer Game and cooperate with the whole Steam Community in order to achieve certain milestones. By doing this, you get special offers and the community enjoys special offer, in addition to playing a fun game. Sadly, I have not been able to play the game, since everybody is trying to access it and it keeps crashing *sad face*, but I will not stop trying!
Other than that is the same as last year. You get the Daily Deals, which change every day and go from 25% all the way up to 80% or even more. I remember there was a bug, about two years ago, and CS:GO was 99% off. Too bad I wasn't able to get it; maybe this year I will. Except Daily Deals, we have Flash Sales, which are usually pretty crazy and change every 12 hours. Finally, at the end of the Summer Sale, there are always the most crazy and out-of-the-world discounts, which when most people make their last purchases.
Having said that, I wish everybody a happy Summer Sale -we should make this a holiday-, have fun and see you online!
